The Great St. Louis Bank Robbery - Starring Steve McQueen
The Great St. Louis Bank Robbery is shot in black and white and is from
the noir film movement. A gang's plans for a St Louis bank robbery
become complicated when one of the thieves' sisters begins to speak
about her well-founded suspicions. Steve McQueen stars as a college
dropout who is the getaway driver in the scheme. The film was shot on
location in St. Louis and some of the residents and bank employees
featured in the film, in the same parts they did in the actual robbery
